Makaira Construction Group was founded by Kramer Clark and Matt Swett with one purpose in mind — To meet our customer's needs in the marine construction industry. With over 50 years of combined experience, Makaira is quickly becoming a leader in residential dock construction. Our expertise is unrivaled and we look forward to serving you as we get your family out on the water with a custom dock, seawall, boathouse, or boat lift.

Kramer Clark

Kramer Clark has a bachelor's degree in Business Management with an emphasis in Organizational Leadership. After college, Kramer began his construction career in flipping houses and ultimately grew into marine construction. Kramer enjoys spending time on the water with his wife, Mackenzie, and his two children, Landon and Rylin. He believes in serving his customers first, and providing the best marine construction experience possible for them!

Matt Swett

Matt Swett has a bachelor’s of Science from Florida State University. After college, Matt began his construction career in roofing, which ultimately morphed into marine construction. Matt enjoys serving at the local church with his wife Katie and his three girls, Sierra, Alexa and Olivia. Emphasizing servant leadership in Makaira Construction Group, Matt hopes to earn your business every step of the way!
